London's Tower Bridge taken from the North Bank of River Thames at the crack of dawn. Most tourists mistakenly call this structure as the London Bridge (which is just next to it).

Suffering from jet lag after reaching London, I ended up walking 24.4 kilometers (39,000 steps) in a single day, thanks to no transportation after midnight. Later, saw the beautiful sunrise between the pillars of London Bridge.
Incidentally, this was the 666th photo on my new camera. Still, neither did the devil appear, nor did I get attacked by the sleeping hobos.

21 Июль 2010, 01:22 the.creative.type this is absolutely lovely, koul! :) and yes, i forgot to tell you the tube pretty much shuts down at around midnight, but there are night buses that you could have taken (assuming you knew where you were going!). still, if this is the result of being stranded without transportation, it was worth it!!!

So didn't plan or have a destination. Incidentally, ended up visiting more places on the first day, than the rest of the week combined. By the morning, ended up at Saint Paul's Cathedral. and decided to attend the sermon. But the big camera bag gear made me look weird amongst the church goers, so back to the hotel.
