taken @ 7.30 am from Ryanair FR902 (Boeing 737-800) from Shannon to London Stansted on Friday 14th Sept 2007
I was in seat 2F having specifically moved to the right hand side of the plane so I could get this and a couple of other shots as we flew into the UK
the pilot had said just before we had to fasten our seatbelts that we would route directly over Heathrow and from past experience I knew that if the climatic conditions were right I might get some nice early morning shots of the city - so i thought (as I was in 3A at the time) I'm moving the other side ! So disturbing a slightly grumpy old fella to get past him (well it was 6.30 am when we took off so I suppose thats fair) i quickly got into 2F.
as it was it was quite foggy down on the ground and hazy up in the air - but this one and maybe one other deserved an airing :-)
