Clapham junction is further west - that's
Vauxhall station just below the MI6 building.
Also, the bridge immediately North of
Waterloo station is the Hungerford rail
bridge (with the two Golden Jubilee walkways
on either side of it) whilst Waterloo bridge
is the next one east.--

05 Июль 2010, 09:53 Fin Fahey Yeah, I found it really frustrating flipping back and forth between sizes. There's also the way notes work - hard to label Charing Cross station, because the bridge note covers so much of it.But a great exercise, I like it..

10 Июль 2010, 17:44 The Duke of Waltham Great picture, and I like the way in which aerial shots like this tie together the millions of pictures, views and landmarks of the capital one can find in Flickr. I can't add notes myself for some reason, but it's nice to see the ones that are there... And make a correction once in a while.The "Tate Gallery", for example, is the Imperial Chemical House. Thames House, the headquarters of MI5, is the building directly in the south, between the box and Millbank Tower. Also, the "Shell Max building" is actually named Shell Mex House (the location is correct).

12 Июль 2010, 04:42 The Duke of Waltham I am under the impression that the reason why I cannot add (or correct) notes is that I am not a contact of the picture's uploader. If you appreciate my direct input so much, you can either add me as a contact, or alter your settings so that all Flickr members can add notes.On the other hand, it seems that you have no contacts at all, which punctures a fairly sizeable hole in my hypothesis. What are those people who have added notes? I am thinking that this is somehow related to the pools in which the pictures have been placed, but my guess is as good as any.In any case, until I am able to add notes, I shall be glad to offer my insights in the form of comments, as I have done above. :-)

Well, there are two things, which I have
mentioned already:1) Delete the "Tate Gallery" note
north of Millbank Tower; the "Tate
Britain" note south of the same tower is
the correct location and name of the same
thing.
2) Rename "Shell Max building" to
"Shell Mex House".These two modifications require no addition
of notes on my part. I might find a couple of
others to add (although all the basics have
already been covered), but, as I have said,
it is physically impossible at this time.
