A view from the 'Blue Bridge' in London's St James' Park towards Horseguards, the Foreign Office, the London Eye and the Shell centre.
This was one of those really spllendid late spring days, the light was brilliant and I liked the clouds.
The lake had been drained for cleaning, but it was being refilled. If you look closely you can see the blue dam that was installed so work could be completed in the vicinity of the pelicans' area.
St James Park was laid out in its present form by John Nash in the reign of King George IV. It was originally a Royal Hunting park.
