It SNOWED today. And I was in London working and enjoyed watching it fall over the City from my office on the 21st floor. Alas none settled so it was a kind of snow 'falling' experience rather than snow itself. Whatever.
It was bloody cold. Why did I go to work with no gloves, no hat and wet hair?
I met up with a friend from university who I haven't seen for 7 years and met her 10 mth old twins and remembered how hard work it is to bounce a baby up and down on your lap for what seems like hours xxx
And then I snapped this, taken in front of the Royal Exchange (which was derelict for years when I first worked in the City, looking down towards Cheapside to the right and,erm Queen Victoria Street (?) to the left.

Funky Slug SCREAM! Nooooooo you don't put Nikons on the
floor/in the corner. I know it looks like a
pavement, but it's actually part of the
plinth for the statue. I was crouched down
getting an eye level shot while holding on to
my camera bag, shopping bags and trying not
to get too wet. It was quite a feat...--

26 Июль 2010, 15:29 livhouse, the paronomeister™ Well I don't know about youse Norveners but we're exporting ours to the Whoam Couiyntease this year...Actually Spud - I'd have thought the snow couldn't have been manufactured above about the 18th floor for H&S reasons, you know wotwiv the Lahrnden Fire Brigade not having long-enough ladders and all that , and that you'd have been able to give as a view-from-above. Oh well.
