A view of the Gherkin and the Tower of London from across the Thames. Large view recommended!
This was my first outing with my new toy, the Nikon D90. Was trying some very long exposures to 'test' the much touted low noise capabilities. Coming from D70, the handling of the camera was pretty comfortable but the number of new features have been a bit daunting! Need to go through the manual, I guess.
The big LCD screen was a big big step forward. It was easy to detect the focus and exposure just looking at the shot. Moreover, I was also able to capture the opening and closing of the Tower Bridge with the D90's movie mode ;o)

Superb blue hour shot! Congrats on the D90!
It must have the same sensor as the D300,
therefore excellent performance at high ISO!--
